Harper orders deportation of conscientious objectors

4 Sep

Harper is on his knees again before the US military.

The “Harper Government” ordered the deportation from Canada of Iraq War veteran Kimberly Rivera, her husband and her four young children.

Like many other American soldiers, Rivera fled to Canada in objection to further participation in what she felt was an unjust and immoral war.

Other conscientious objectors have already been deported by the “Harper Government,” and were harshly punished by military authorities for their protest. Rivera faces the same peril.

During the Vietnam War, over 50 000 Americans fled the US for refuge in Canada. The Canadian government at the time welcomed the conscientious objectors with open arms, declaring Canada to “be a refuge from militarism.”

Evidently ashamed of Canada’s history as a safe haven for conscientious objectors, the Harper Government is working tirelessly to undo this reputation and hand over all war resisters to the American military.

It’s easy to see why. Since Harper didn’t get to drag Canada into the lie-driven Iraq war like he wanted back in 2003, he wants to make up for it to his war-mongering heroes. So he’s going to make sure anyone that he can get away with punishing for disagreeing with his position is punished as severely as possible.

But I’ve got an idea. If Harper thinks all these lie-driven wars are so great, then he should volunteer to take the place of conscientious objectors. Hell, why not have the whole the whole cabinet and all the Tory deputies enlist in the US armed forced to make up for the loss in numbers caused by conscientious objectors?

That way, Rivera and her family can stay safe in Canada and continue to express opposition to US wars of aggression, and Harper can have Canadian participation in US wars. Everyone gets their way!

Well, it turns out they have won through electoral fraud and illegal campaign practices…. so, it’s a challenge

Really???????????????? Do you think they will be able to rig it next time as well?

Your head of immigration is probably the most right-wing Canadian alive.
